The YouTube selection on Morrison was very ordinary, which was why I used Vimeo, which doesn't seem to embed.

Back in my days of wine and roses I used to have a drink at a footpath bar in Vientiane with a guy from the US Embassy, (the only one who never winked and said "I can't talk about what I do", he was the maintenance guy), who had played in some long forgotten 60s LA band, and we'd sing "Browneyed Girl" to our browneyed girls.

The lads from FYC ( bar the singer ) were in The Beat. Their tune, Mirror in the Bathroom a true classic. If only I could work out how to post it.

used to love the the way those 2 danced. brings back great memories of the all the two tone bands and th ska era.

classic line "drift gently into mental illness" followed by that great sax solo.

always pissed me off why they have to be referred to as the "english beat" they were around years before the americans caught on to ska and then copied their name.
