Burmese Worker shot as he drinks with friends in Naklua

NAKLUA: -- Late on Thursday Night, Police received reports of a shooting which had taken place close to the Sanctuary of Truth tourist attraction located in Naklua. One man was reported to have been injured and Police caught up with him at Banglamung Hospital. Mr. Tong aged 28 from Myanmar had been shot in his leg but was not seriously injured. He explained to Police that he was sitting and drinking with friends when a group of seven teenagers on four motorbikes drove past them and then double-backed and drove past again.

these teenagers are getting out of control in Pattaya now..... the police really need to be on top of this, otherwise pattaya will be the next Bronx of thailand

I have grown much more wary of Naklua ever since I had some teens on a moto point what appeared to be a large gun directly at my face as I was riding a baht bus.

these teenagers are getting out of control in Pattaya now..... the police really need to be on top of this, otherwise pattaya will be the next Bronx of thailand

Been like that the last 3 to 4 years along the north end of third road and up into Naklua, unfortunately nothing new, a lot of people have suggested regular police patrols along the north end of third road, but as long as the police are "involved" with many of these establishments in the area - not going to happen is it?!
