Kenyan’s dominate at the 17th Pattaya Marathon

PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Sunday Morning, the 17th Power Plus Pattaya Marathon took place. The conditions were perfect and Khun Saenee, the Governor of Chonburi Province oversaw the formalities and as planned at 4.20am, the Wheelchair race got under-way. 10 minutes later, the main Marathon race began with an estimated 2,000 runners, a mixture of Thai and Foreign competitors. The Marathon race was dominated by the Kenyans and at the new start/ finish line in front of Pattaya City Hall, the Mayor of Pattaya, Khun Itipon was on-hand to welcome the winners as they crossed the finish line.
