What Happened To Tot In Phuket?

Featured Replies

Finally gave up with TT&T/3BB. Now with TOT for a few weeks. My 4mb line is a 0mb line between 4pm and 10pm. The rest of the time it hovers around dial up speeds, with rare bursts of speed just to tease me. One call into the call center after the first few days of mostly down or slow connectivity with promise of a technician call back/visit. No call. Connection speeds seemed to level out around 1.5mbps for a few days which is all I can really hope for. Now for 2 days its back to snails pace if connected at all. And all today the 1177 call center number was busy. Then at 5pmish it's not busy anymore....it's gone entirely. "Sorry..the number you dial no longer exist." <deleted>?

Anyone experiencing similar?

TOT call centre is 1100. I had a similar problem a while ago with download speeds of 0.85 consistently throughout the day. I went to TOT on Chao Fa & the same afternoon a technician arrived, looked at my computer & said I know what is wrong. He tweaked, made a couple of calls & within 15 minutes download speed was back to 3.5.

TOT here on Samui is up and down like a tart's knickers.

It always seems to drop out at mid-day and at 4 pm as well.

I have started to rely more on the CAT CDMA - not quite as fast, but much more stable.
