Crushdepth
Is there some way to get Ubuntu to remember a network share / FTP connection and to automatically mount it on startup? I can connect to my fileserver and webserver using the 'places' menu and add bookmarks to them. The problem is when I restart both the connections and bookmarks are gone. Is there a way to get Ubuntu to remember and automatically mount the share so I don't have to set it up again next time?
siamect
odd problem... Did you do it like this http://www.associate...m_nautilus.html Currently I use KDE on everything in my home but as far as I remember, the bookmarks in nautilus are surviving any kind of abuse...I can test on Monday on a pure Ubuntu install. What version are you on? Edited August 6, 2010 by siamect

dave_boo
You know I love the terminal and here's how to do it. That is for curlfs and FTP proper. Another way is here. That's for a Widow's Share or Samba (smbfs)(.
