Blackouts in Phuket tomorrow: PEA

PHUKET: -- The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced a scheduled blackout to carry out maintenance on high voltage power lines in Rawai and Chalong from 9am to 4pm tomorrow. Affected areas include:

Rawai: Much of Nai Harn, including Saiyuan Road, Soi Kok Yang, Soi Hua Phru, Soi Kok Makham, Soi Naya and the beach road

Chalong: West side of Chao Fah West Road, including Soi Na Kok, Chao Fa Thani village, Nai Trok community, and Soi Sai Namyen to Chalong Temple.

Amazing! The Phuket Gazette actually has some news about Rawai and Nai Harn... I was about to post this myself, but I didn't have any acceptable link to this news as required by TV. I still haven't heard of the reason why, but I would guess they are replacing some main power cables. I just hope it's not a hot day tomorrow! I already have filled the backup water supply and watered all the plants...
