Has anyone recently gotten a triple entry tourist visa in one day using Parvez or another agent? Does is always work?

I'm thinking of flying in on the Sunday evening of the 24th and returning on Monday evening.

Anyone happen to have the number of Parvez bookstore handy?

Thanks!

NJ Books were great in assisting with my application and were able to ensure a 1 day process at an extra 80R cost.. They informed me with what I assume was 100% honesty that not every 'one day application' works but of it doesnt they refund the 80R..

His explanation was the Office processes all Thai applications and workload first and then deal with farang applications after.. Very rarely on a busy day some of the one day applications get delayed (my passport didnt get back until 5:30 even though they had a runner waiting for it in the office).. He also advised that Mondays and Fridays are the most likely days to go wrong so maybe you would like to consider a midweek attempt.

I have been to Penang once which was this year and showed up at the window and asked for a triple entry. They said they would only make it valid for 3 months and recommended a 2 entry. I didn't argue and picked up my two entry the next day and noted it had a 6 month validity. So if using a service gives you a longer duration for a triple, it would be well worth it I would say. If not, a triple would only seem to make sense if you plan to be hopping out of the country occasionally versus trying to make it last 9 months.

But you do your last visa run the day before the 6 month 'window' expires and then get a further 60 days + 30 extension.. Thats how you make a triple entry spin out into 9 months use..

Exactly, but what they said to me is they would only give me a 3 month validity on a triple (not 6 month) and on the spot recommended to me to get a double. A bit strange so thought it useful to toss in my experience here for what it is worth.

Well thats incorrect advise as per my last application in Penang.. and as you note you got 6 months on a double when he would only bneed 6 months on a triple to gain 9 months stay out of it ?!?!

Hi

I have used Pravez many times and never had any problem. I normally get my visa the following day. Have not been in that much of a hurry so cannot comment on one day service.

As for the triple entry they (Pravez) suggested this to me at one time but pointed out that the visa had to be used within the 90 days with no extensions so my usual double entry with extensions was still the best deal for me. If anyone has ACTUALLY obtained any extensions to a triple entry I’d sure like to hear about it as that would definitely suit me better.

Pravez is on Chulia Street at the entrance to the “Swiss Hotel” you can’t miss the signs for “Swiss Hotel” and they are on the corner left hand side as you face the hotel entrance way.

Their phone numbers are:- 04 - 2622314 – 2619178

Fax:- 04 – 2622314

Mobile:- 016 - 4544141

They open from 9.00am - 10.00pm

Hope this helps.

Yes I got a triple for 6 months and extended each of the initial 2 60 days to 90 days.. I then did a run the day before it expired and extenbded that getting the 9 months out of a triple..

Worked exactly as I figured it would..

I just recently obtained my second tourist visa from Penang. No problems--went to the window and received a triple the next day with a 6 month validity which as you say covers up to 9 months. Very pleased as it is the first ever triple I have ever gotten--very, very happy to have learned about Penang in this forum! I think it is good for the consulate as well because it means no paperwork for them for another 9 months and they get 300RM up front. Don't know why other consulates are so stingy and don't allow multi-entry as all it really does is create more work for themselves.
