My girfriend in Thailand applied for a fiance visa to Aust

The embassy wanted her to get some Thai documents translated to English.

She mailed them to me in Aust and I got them translated here.

I need to know an official translater in BKK to look at these papers and veryfy that the translation is correct'

I am not sure if Aust embassy in BKK demands it.

I intend to return the documents to her in a few days

Who knows and can advice me.

THANKS

But are they accepted and authorised to sign, that the translation is true and correct

I am talking about the Sukhumvit ones.

Last year when iI brought them a technical book to translate , they opted out.

Cannot do sir

They certainly were no scholars.

It is translated, all I need is for one to read ,and a rubber stamp.

When I got the Aust Embassy in BKK to witness a Stat Dec last April.

They hit me with a 620 baht fee for the signing.

What a rip off.

Here it is free, just call into your local police station.

I need 11 documents to get checked.

I am happy to pay a fair price, but not over the top.

Tell me what they charge.

Thanks

Used the following:-

Professional Translation Services Ltd.

32/8 Sukhumvit 21 Road(Soi Asoke)

Wattana, Bangkok

Not far from British Embassy.

Get girlfriend to telephone them on 02-2599406 to check they are still able to do.

They may need to translate the documents themselves in order to certify. I would not like to certify someone else's attempt.

Their certification has been accepted in Thailand and UK by all organisations.

Never gone by sky train. Taxi from bus station only around 100 baht. Wouldn't bother with thai embassy, translation services far more convenient and obliging.

I'm a thai/australian citizen - dual nationalities and I'm also helping an australian friend of mine to get his girlfriend over to australia on a fiance visa. I have translated her documents as well. It's very easy to do. All you need to do is get the translated documents to the misnistry of foreign affairs on cheangwattana road to be "Certified correct translation".

You can download the forms from the internet regarding most important documents like birth certificate, id card, and household registration at...

http://www.mfa.go.th/web/804.php

you will also need to put somewhere on the page that you translated...

Certified correct translation

……………………………

( John Smith )

Translator

The ministry of foreing affairs will charge 200 Baht per page (front and back) for certifying correct translation.

Hope this helps!
