Insurance For G/f For Aus Visa

I am off to visa application centr in 2 weeks and am wanting to know does my g/f need her Return air ticket and Travel insurance to show with her application? I was going to wait until i had visa approved before buying air ticket and travel insurance for her.. Thanks if someone can shed some light about this..

Tinytot we booked a ticket and gave this as evidence but we didnt get any travel insurance. Just make sure if you pay for the ticket that it is open for changes for 12 months. Even better if you can transfer it to your name at a later date if everything falls thru. \

One of my friends recently took his G/F to Denmark. His consulate insisted she have medical insurance. Bupa Blue Cross does a holiday insurance for about 3500 Baht.
