Getting To Hua Hin From Bkk Airport Hotel

Featured Replies

Hi folks

Any personal recommendations for a reliable transfer from a yet to be selected BKK airport hotel to Hua Hin? (Yes I have tried the search function, its not terribly enlightening).

I've had too many white knuckle experiences over the years in Thailand, so someone sane, not smoking, drunk or on drugs or working to an impossible deadline, driving a clean comfortable aircon car with seatbelts and some thread on the tyres would be great!

If you do not travel with too much luggage you could take a minibus from the Victory Monument to Hua Hin for 180 baht. They leave every 15 minutes from the early hours until seven pm something.

Lookup local car services in Hua Hin, if you can wait I can post you a number of an old thai guy that will probably do it as i'm phoneing him to take me to the airport next week. He's cheap and ok if you can put up with his talk about how long hes been driving for etc.

Taxi is about 1800 baht outside. Last thing you need after a long flight is to travel over to Victory Monument and wait for a Mini Bus, that leave every 30 mins upto 9pm, if you have a lot of luggage 2 suitcases another seat so 360baht, only for the tight fisted.
