My experience in this OTB forum is that some people never concede a mistake or have the ability to reconsider their original view. They just walk away from the thread or digress.

It is not conducive to open-minded debate.

I haven't looked at who has given who Greens on this thread, but I bet I could hazard a guess who has been dishing out the 'hollow points'. However, trying to keep within the rules, can I suggest certain 'clicks', take a deep breath, sit back from their cybernetic war machine and have a quiet look at their posts.

You are correct HC. You have conceded in the past, but as I recall (and I really do not have the time to research it) your concessions are almost always, if not always, followed by an excuse for your incorrect statement(s).

Case in point, your latest concession "I will concede that I did not recall your admission of 200 (odd) days ago." was followed by "Was that all UG could find out of all of you guys' posts?"

When did UG become charged with researching all of the examples to disprove your statement?

Please note that when I conceded to you 200 odd days ago (BTW I do not understand the relevance or importance of how dated the subject concession is) I did not follow it up with an excuse, or remark in an attempt to excuse the misstatement, thereby diminishing said concession.
