The "can I bring my girlfriend scam"
How do you know they were scammers if they never got in and nothing happened? Kickboxer sounds like a selling feature to me, not automatically a scam. -

Trump Campaign Accuses Kamala Harris of Campaign Finance Violations
Not to worry. No desire to “track” you. You’re not that important. Canada. Ah yes. Our little brother to the north. An American with a Parka and Snowshoes. Big brother will take the flak and watch over you. Some time ago I read where Canada is looking for immigrants. Would you support having buses, trains or planes at our Southern Border to take the “immigrants” that just entered our country illegally and have them transported to Canada? It could be a win win for both countries. Or do you prefer the elites (Obama) on Martha’s Vineyard attitude, “Not in my backyard “? -

TG visiting Ireland with UK tourist visa
Yes Thai Nations can still travel to Ireland if they are in possession of a UK short term Standard Visit visa, and have entered the UK first. This concession doesn’t apply to other categories of visa, such as Settlement. Unless you qualify for the Short Stay Visa Waiver Programme or the British Irish Visa Scheme a valid UK visa does not entitle you to travel to Ireland without a visa. Further information on these schemes is available on the website of the Irish Immigration Service -

Blackchin Tilapia Invasion Threatens Southeast Asia's Ecosystems
No, Basa is a species of catfish completely different from Tilapia, for your information. Tilapia have scales, catfish don't. Catfish have barbels (whisker-like appendages) located on the chin and sides of their mouth. However, you missed the point of my message. It's not about the fish, but where they are grown, caught or reared. I won't eat Vietnamese Catfish (aka Basa) because they are farmed in the Mekong River Delta, not because I don't like the mild flavour. I'm concerned about the pollutants in the fish, not their nutritional content. -

Is Nissan going bust?
Bought a new X-Trail 4x4 six years ago - it's been an excellent car. Very smooth ride, comfortable, quiet, spacious, reliable - great for long drives, OK off road, and has high equipment levels. But no longer available in Thailand as production shifted from Thailand to Japan. So even without the concerns about the company, I'd need to look at Honda, Mazda, Subaru (until year end) to get an equivalent 4×4 unibody SUV. Or pay much more for an imported BMW or Mercedes, or, more likely, move to a truck based SUV. -

Blackchin Tilapia Invasion Threatens Southeast Asia's Ecosystems
Yes seriously. Don't kill annoying bees, because they pollinate plants. Don't kill dangerous snakes, because they take care of other vermin. Don't kill Jingjoks that leave excrement in every room, because they take care of insects. Don't kill spiders, because they take care of small insects -

That plus the 60 day waiver on arrival should make the Jomtien immigration office a lot less busy.- 1

Trump lied 22 times in his acceptance speech.
And how would you describe somebody who was perfectly happy that the nuclear launch codes are in the possession of a man in the advanced stages of dementia ? Equally worthy of a head examination would be the correct answer -

Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
Well done the UK. More and more countries are starting to see this vile creatures true colours. Labour has announced its biggest step yet in overhauling the UK’s approach to the Middle East, dropping its opposition to an international arrest warrant against Benjamin Netanyahu despite pressure from Washington not to do so. https://www.theguardian.com/law/article/2024/jul/26/britain-drops-challenge-icc-arrest-warrants-israeli-leaders-netanyahu-gallant -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
If you get it online it's a PDF you can print out and carry on your phone. Not a stamp or sticker that goes in your passport. Same as the Tourist Visa. Looks like if you physically go into a consulate you get a sticker in your passport. I would assume you also get the same letter/PDF version as well but not sure about that. Remains to be seen what happens if you get a new passport and the ID# is different to what is on the Visa. You would probably have to go into immigration or apply online to get that changed on the Visa. I suspect Thai immigration hasn't thought about this scenario yet so just hope your not one of the first that has to deal with it. -
