I need to be clear regarding the payment for Visa do I need to pay to the VFS, as what on the http://www.vfs-uk-th.com/visafees.aspx which work on the conversion rate of ฿52 to a 1 (pound) for 1st Oct 2010 or do I need to work out the conversion myself as current rate from the top of this site is ฿47.07 to a 1 (pound) as the UK web site status that is cost 644 (pounds) which is right if you use the ฿52 rate to convert.

And I guess only cashier's check / bank draft is accepted as payment.

Can anyone clarify this?

Pay the fee on the day on the ground floor of Regent House they have a bank they will do all of this for you.

Yes, check the rates on the day, unfortunately they set the exchange rates and do not adjust them often as we might like, in any case the exchange rate isn't going to be in your favour.

You are right in thinking that it has to be a draft, and as TVE says they can be purchased at a bank on the ground floor of Regent House.
