Central Pattaya Beauty Salon raided by Police

PATTAYA: -- Officers from the Anti-Human Trafficking Division of the Royal Thai Police in cooperation with the Immigration Bureau, conducted a raid of the Enjoy Beauty Salon in Soi Beokeow, just after 3.30 on Wednesday Morning following an undercover operation. An undercover officer, armed with marked bank notes entered the Salon and allegedly gave over 2,000 Baht in exchange for sexual services inside the location.

Sorry to be so stupid but I thought in Pattaya it was normal to have sex and pay for it. What difference does it make here ? Because its a beauty salon ?and not "massage" parlor ?

Officers moved in and arrested Khun Anchisar aged 34 and also detained a girl under the age of 18 who is suspected of being a prostitute.

If they went around detaining all the suspected hookers in Pattaya the jails would be full in no time. But does this mean the police volunteer shagged someone under 18?
