Yeah - I wasted 10k on a similar offer from a supposed authorised True Visions rep. It was good for about 3 days then mysteriously the channels kept cutting out. went back to the rep and he said oh dear if it's not working there's not much I can do about it! Now paying for the full service (which works fine in the outbacks of Issaan here). About 1500 for the Gold Package a month - I like my football.

I also pay another 500 baht a month for a second dish and receiver so that my wife and family's viewing of crappy soaps and other more mainstream films does not get in the way of my English Premier League absorption! Total luxury that second bit. I have heard you can do things to get the second connection much cheaper, but I've had my fingers burnt once going off-piste

When I last used them they offered monthly payments or a yearly cheaper payment. It's probably best out there, but I soon tire of it and now prefer internet downloads or streams.

BTW, my Mrs parents have PSI because there are no monthly payments and it's nearly all in Thai. There are 224 channels. Only English channels are TAN and RT (Russia). The other 222 channels don't interest me.

References to pirate services have been deleted.

Unfortunately SE Asia is poorly served with English language channels. :bah:
