PATTAYA: -- A press conference at City Hall on Monday announced details of the up-coming and annual Longboat Racing competition to be held at Mabrachan Reservoir over the weekend of the 20th and 21st of November. This will be the 10th year of the Pattaya Longboat Racing competition with the Princess Sirindhorn Trophy as the main incentive, although the 500,000 baht in prize money might also be of some interest.

Pattaya Longboat Competition begins at the Maprachan Reservoir

PATTAYA: -- The Pattaya Longboat Championships 2010 are underway at the Maprachan Reservoir, east of Pattaya. Khun Sontaya, former sports and tourism minister led the proceedings, accompanied by Khun Wishit, the Governor of Chonburi Province, Khun Mai, the Mayor of Nongprue and Khun Itipon, the Mayor of Pattaya.
