raylo, Tops is downtown at Edison, and another location as well. Northern Farms is somewhat south east of down town.

Both locales are on svenivan's excellent Google map (see pinned topic top of this page).

Hope you find your way.

McGriffith, you don't need to be affraid because of your lactoseproblem because there is hardly any milk in these cheap cheeses. It is a known fact that in 90% of all cheeses made around the world the basic is vegatable oil (ok make it 75%)

Only the very expensive ones, imported... Yes Imported.. from their original country can be real. In the EU you can see ot the packing. All the rest looks like cheese but in fact is a very bad copy of the original with no or little milk used for making it.

Want a proof?

Put one small piece of the original and one of the fake one outside, look on which the flies come.. that is the real one.

Another one, the Real one molds, the fake one does not.

Same difference between real butter and margarine (which is one micron away from plastic)

Hi Will. I would guess it is the same thing SD is on and you probably don't want to go down that road. I know I don't. I prefer reality.

G'day mate,

You're right of course.

Once you go down that road,

there's no turning back :)

It's called plumber's crack in the Ewe Ess of Eh.

Back on thread, cheddar cheese at Tops, or Northern Farm, or Makro...all good....

Well seeing as you are so good at throwing names about can you enlighten an unenlightened one where to find Tops & Northern Farm in Chiang Rai??

I know Big C & Makro so no need to be too generous.

Also big thx to SunHol for sharing knowledge rather than being negative about things that can benefit some of us poor ignorant forum readers

Go to the Google Map in the pinned section. You can find both Northern Farm and the two Top-shops there!

:);):D

Thank you kind sir and the same McG for providing edification and pointing the way to the light.
