Used Book Shop

Featured Replies

Are there any used book shops in Chiang Rai,

also in Mai Chan

There "was" one with a sign off of Jedyod that I have failed to find.

Thanks

Marcgee

I usually go to Orn's book shop which is the one you are referring to off Jedyod Rd. Go down the soi next to the temple, turn right and then left, it's signposted so should be easy to find.

There's a new one in that little market at the end of JedYod St. (Not the clock tower end).

Haven't been there yet just picked up a leaflet in the bakery the other day.

Advertises "many languages".

Rico's Bar has about 100 books all fairly newish for customers to take away and read for FREE, but in trust that you bring them back . Any book donations are also accepted.

There is another used book shop more or less next to DaVinci restaurant on the main drag.

The other already mentioned is past the Tourist Inn, on the laft side of the road before the main junction at the small market area that has mostly closed units.

Orn's is my favourite ,good range & friendly service

It is worth investigating

Peter at Orn's is indeed a friendly chap and the service and prices are first rate.

You can go through his stock fairly quickly though if you are selective about who and what you read.
