One needs to be knowledgeable about cobras before keeping one as a pet in their apartment.

.

Seems like a pretty daft fella...stabbing people and keeping pet cobras in a RESIDENTIAL housing compound...Pattaya is surely better off without him

Interesting story.

We had an inquiry from the man seeking a devenomized Cobra from us some time back.

We have successfully devenomized many of the world's deadliest snakes.

We declined the request from him under instruction from the government here in Australia, who have directed we perform the said surgery for no one.

Seems like another story of a snake handler being out of his depth.

In the Thairath they also reported on the story and interviewed the housekeeper of the New Nordic hotel where he was staying. Apparently he'd been bitten several times before by his cobra(s) and made a habit of rushing downstairs and asking the staff for help who would send him off to the local hospital via motorcycle taxi for treatment (presumably for snake venom antidote). This time however, it appears he didn't make it.
