Phuket Still Has It!

Featured Replies

My parents are currently enjoying their 4th trip to Thailand and have returned from Phuket last week. This was their 3rd trip to Phuket, 1st post-tsunami. The bottom line - it's just as enjoyable as the other two times they've been there.

They're both in their late 40's but still enjoy a bit of a party atmosphere, which apparently is still very much there. They also mentioned that the beaches are looking better (if that was ever possible).

Wish I could of joined them, but was spending the last week taking care of a friends' wedding.

Just a bit of review on the current Phuket scene I thought would be worth spreading...

Most of the expats living on Phuket are that age and over and thay are what what makes is so special.

Wait until you are 30 something then you'll understand.....

Patong is buzzing right now.

Last night I was driving home from work at about 9:00 pm and Bangla and Rat-U-Thit were just hopping. Busiest I have seen it since the big T.

And last night too, couldn’t move down Bangla ! Think it had a lot to do with those biker weirdo’s, Jesters, Black Rose whatever they call themselves.

Loads of them, the rain soon cleared them away which was good ! :D (hopefully they returned back to Pattaya)..... :o
