South Pattaya IT Center vendors begin protest over proposed rent increases

PATTAYA: -- A protest was held by vendors working inside the Tuk.Com IT Center on the South Pattaya Road on Thursday Evening. Over 100 vendors and friends joined the protest which is over proposed rental increases by the owners of the center. Typically the shop owners pay as much as 60,000 Baht per month for rent with the booths, commonly used by mobile phone vendors paying between 8,000 and 15,000 Baht per month.
