Lethal ordnance exploded in East Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A controlled explosion orchestrated by officers from the Royal Thai Navy bomb disposal unit based in Sattahip took place on Tuesday afternoon at a tapioca field in East Pattaya. Police were initially called to a cleared tapioca field near a temple at the top end of Soi Kow Noi by a farmer who discovered what he recognized as an explosive device.
