I have a degree in business management.

What do you think a good business is there ?

The problem is went i went there i could not find a business broker so how can i find businesses for sale in sisaket ?

I have lived in Sisaket for 6 years, right now Sisaket is growing and very healthy economically. You are better off starting your own business than buying one. There are many opperunities for Farang right now in Sisaket. If you want to discuss them I would be happy to help you.

Go for something that is not 'low cost of entry' - i.e. you need to lay down money on kit to do the service or sell the product. If you go for low cost of entry businesses and are successful the Thais will simply copy you and you'll be bust in weeks.

PS - I agree that SiSaket and Ubon provinces are booming (compared to poor rural Issaan from which they only recently emerged). Land prices unfortunately appear to be reflecting that.

Something does not add up here.........

You have a "Business Degree" and you are on Thai Visa asking for advise ?

You cannot think of a business for your self ?

You have 6 million Baht and want to invest (get ripped off for sure) in Thailand ?

You need to ask for your money back from the University / Online site you got the Business Degree from....

Well ...With the OP living in Pattaya and thinking of buying a business in Si Saket .... I really don't think many Graduate Schools would offer a refund for one of their graduates simply seeking information from locals.

Actually it seems a perfectly reasonable first step!

Obviously - of course - not to all ------ bit that's TV.

no need to show that u are a business man . coz from ur question any one can know that u r not .

anyway i will tell u what to do in sisaket . may be u miss some courses in ur university .

frist u have to know that u can not make a good income with the frist year. u have to focus on the number of customers and the quality of sercives.

dont try to run a business its already ruled by the thai people or chinese coz they will put u down .

best business in sisaket is resturant but with deferent style and equal food cost.

otherwise open 7eleven with 5 milions bath and save ur ass.

these business dont try to think of .. ( building material, house and flats rent, cloths shop, shoos, coffee shop, bars and night club, sport club, and spa.

good luck and u can contact me at any time for consultant.

Have you thought of adopting an equity position in an existing business. I am sure there are opportunties out there where the hard work of establishing a business has been done but working capital is running short. Rather than spend a considerable portion of your cash on market development from the ground up, spend less on building upon an existing base and join up with an experienced management team. Your funds and business management skills, someone elses struggling business, could be just what you are looking for as a semi retired businessman.
