Try Cambodia if you think johnnies are dear here. $4.50 for some jap crap threesome called 'Big Boy' in Phnom Penh. It's not only about the rubber (latex to be correct), but mainly about the mould which has a certrain price. If you produce fewer items from it, the cost of the mould has to be divided by that lower number, thus resulting in higher investment cost per mould. It's not so difficult to understand, is it?

And then of course, the market forces of supply and demand play a role. So I would guess that the profit margin on a large condom is higher, but I don't really know that.

Of course they're expensive, latex doesn't grow on trees you know. :rolleyes:
