bergen
Went to check out the park on Friday (10/12)and it was open for visitors. The park is now open in weekends and on holy days, and the entrance fee is 20 baht. The high amount of heavy armed soldiers and rangers and the 5 check points before reaching the parking area just added some spice to the trip. Several binoculars available at the view point on the Thai side of the border, made it possible to see the temple in the distance, and some good views at east side of the cliff....... A restaurant serving local food/drinks and a "souvenir" shop offering the usual items are open, but still no news about when border crossing is possible!
