Flooding

Featured Replies

Hi, I live in Bangkok and was thinking of taking a brief 3-4 day trip into Chiangmai, but my boyfriend said that there's alot of flooding right now.

I've looked at a couple of threads, but is the flooding affecting the main part of the city now or is it more surrounding areas. And is it raining alot now? Meaning, would it be a miserable time to go?

Any help would be appreciated, as I'm not sure how much weather differs in surrounding Thailand. Thank you.

Things are mostly back to normal although I'm sure there are still some pockets of hardship in areas that were particularly hard hit. The level of the Ping River is normal now.
