4 Million Baht allegedly stolen following road crash in North Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A Thai Woman, involved in a road accident in Banglamung claims to have lost 4 Million Baht in cash and cannot explain who may have taken the money. The accident occurred on the Sukumvit Road, close to the Banglamung Temple on Sunday and involved a Blue Mazda Pickup driven by Khun Wijidapar aged 27 and a Gas Tanker driven by Khun Tiwar aged 39. The female driver was injured in the crash and taken to Hospital where she realized that a black bag containing 4 Million Baht which was about to be distributed to members of a Savings Club in Jomtien, had been emptied.

She was injured, lands up in hospital, and then remembers her bag is missing------but it was other peoples money-due to be handed over---but never got there, I,m really sorry, but I can,t help thinking the money was put aside-for a rainy day. I will be the first to apologise if the story is genuine. It must be us older ex pats that have a bad attitude about stories like this, maybe its because we have heard them all before, and its not new. I must start to try to think good of the people.

Good but bloody excuse to justify the missing money :whistling:

4 million baht and travelling alone :) thats a bit hard to believe , I hate sound sceptical but there may be more to come on this story.

I hope she makes a full recovery and they find out who was behind the missing money.

PATTAYA: -- Suspicion surrounds the 4 Million Baht accident case we featured on Monday as Banglamung Police continue to determine who is telling the truth and who was the mystery man who was first on-scene at the accident involving a pick-up driven by Khun Gidapar aged 27 and a Gas Tanker. The woman claimed she was robbed of 4 Million Baht which was the proceeds of a Savings Club
