Measurement For Unit Of Water?

Hi all.

I have been looking at places to stay in Chiang Mai and many quote a charge of X baht per unit of water. I know the unit measure that is used for electricity but what is the unit measurement for water? Gallon? Liter? Washtub full?

Thanks

David

It is in liters. 1000 liter is a cubic meter . A cubic meter is one unit.

Agreed ----- and it also happens to be 1 metric tonne.

Normal water usage varies widely, but typically would be in the 100 to 200 litres per day per person.

The hotter and more affluent countries tend to use more, as one might expect.
