Hotel With Free, Fast Internet In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of a hotel in central Bangkok (Sathorn, Silom, sukhumvit) with very fast free internet access? I am looking for something with consistent 512Kbps equivalent (not that great, but good for Thailand!)

Cost of the hotel is not that much of a problem, but preferably not more than 2500/night

Thanks for any suggestions!

Citadines has free cable broadband in all rooms for free and is fast, costs around 1900thb for a room, which is very well appointed, they are in Suk soi 8, 11, 16 & 23

the internet at citadines is very fast - more pricey than the other hotels but if you are working it is ideal

Interesting to know about Citadines. Have stayed in many hotels in BKK over 15 years, including the luxury riverside 5 star business squats - Oriental, Peninsular et al. Excellent hotels and mostly very good value - and on down to the standard budget Nana area dorms. Internet is generally unremittingly crap in this city. How the hell this city got away with being a major conference venue beats me.

That bottom of the pile 3rd world country Cambodia has hotels that beat Bangkok into a cocked hat when it comes to internet speeds.

Only Pattaya manages to underperform Bangkok in the internet stakes. They must sell special cheap charlie hotelier internet packages there - guaranteed to fail on guests 2 days out of every three.
