My wife and I don't seem to be having much luck conceiving! Trying to conceive is lots of fun but I think we must be on a run of bad luck after 9 months of trying! I have 3 children from a previous marriage and she has one child previously without problems. So it's either very bad luck or one/both of us has got a problem with our plumbing

Anyone know of a good fertitlity clinic where I can go and fill a sample bottle??

That would work for your sperm count. If it is any normal, good. For any analysis, you (your ejaculate) will have to have more than 20 million of the white ones. Normal is 40-60 million. Still, only one is needed for the job.

(for the sample, they provide some magazines in the "pleasure room").

If it's all ok with you, count on another 2-3K US$ per try (IVF), 6 times is up to where the doctors go, or until your wifey goes over 42yrs of age.

Bumrungrad does that from 2-4-6 and 8, every day, all year round.

It's not fun, the wife would have to inhale things(that take control of her cycle), then inject herself into her stomach...

Wish you don't get to that stage. The success rate is 1 in 100, if that.

We had full success with CARE. After two miscarriages, we decided to seek help, and although we were both in "full working order", my wife was given some injections, vitamin tablets, etc, and upon the next visit, the doctor told us that the following weekend would be a "perfect time". We both took a few days off work, drove down to Hua Hin, and basically had a second honeymoon. Last month the result arrived in the form of two healthy baby boys. The doctor from Care was carrying out the delivery, which was done at Bumrungrad. Even though the water broke at 4 in the morning, he was waiting for us when we arrived at the hospital - cecaerian performed an hour after. Excellent job - my wife was up and walking 2 days later, and the scar is hardly visible.

Dr Nared is your man! Strongly recommended!

BTW - the kite flying room at CARE is freezing cold - took a bit of effort! Not my finest moment......

I can also recommend the Phiyathai 2 hospital. They are expensive, but very good.

Simon, as I remember that you had kids with now ex wife, does it means that i worked with CARE ?

Anybody knows if process is good and a lot cheaper at public hospitals ? The only problem is queue, right ?

Keep in mind this thread is 6 years old. A lot may have changed. Public hospitals are often a lot cheaper and can be just as good. Try to find the name of a good doctor. Many doctors in public hospitals also have a private practise. You can than have a few consults at their private practise and for the rest go to same doctor in the public hospital.
