Major Phuket blackouts to start Tomorrow

PPEA workers perform maintenance on high-voltage power lines in Phuket.

PHUKET: -- The Phuket Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced scheduled blackouts to carry out maintenance on high voltage power lines, install new lines and move power poles.

The dates and locations of the operations, which will carried out from 9am to 4pm, are detailed below:

January 11 - Chalong

Luang Por Chuang Road, from the TOT office on Chao Fa West Rd to Phuket Country Home on Luang Por Chaem Road, including Moo Baan Chanakan, Moo Baan Inter Villa 2, Luang Por Chaem Road, and the Nanthawan 2, Seevalee 2, Laddawan 2, and Parichart developments in Land & House Park Phuket.

January 13 – Koh Sireh

Sri Suthat Rd, from Moo Baan Karn Keha to Haad Preumsuk, including Theppratan Road, Vanich Road, Soi Hone-Tsaithong, Soi Eak-kasilp, Soi Mali-kaew, Soi Maliphun, Soi Tan Koon, Baan Laem Nga, Soi Thiem Pracha-Uthit.

January 20 – Chalong

Soi Nayai, from the PEA substation on Chao Fa West Road to Chao Fa East Road, including Tsaithong Villa, parts of Luang Por Chaem Road, Chalong Living Home Villa, Soi Wat Chalong, Soi Mae Lamai, Soi Tharn Namjai and the Baan Chaiyapruek, Laddawan, Baan Seevalee 2, Munthana, Prueksachart Lake View areas of Land & House Park Phuket.

January 27 – Chalong

Chao Fa East Road, from the entrance to Land & Houses Park Phuket to Chalong Circle, including Chalong Natural Home Villa, Andaman Tropical Home Villa, Soi Pramote, Soi Thanuthep, Chalong Suk Villa.
