PATTAYA: -- Elections for the Nongprue district, which encompasses most of the eastern side of Pattaya, took place on Sunday. Almost 12,000 local residents cast their ballots for their preferred mayoral candidates as well as a second ballot paper to elect the members of the Nongprue district administration

Was there a "No Alcohol" ban, or dose it just depend which way the wind is blowing?

Thank god that is past, we were getting about 100 advertising trucks a day passing our house blaring out the names of the candidates and their parties with ridiculious music to accompany them - i probably know all the candidates names off by heart now!! See how long the peace lasts!
