Yup, after 25 years of giving us beootivul songs - Mick Hucknall is hanging up his hat..

I feel sad because he has sung his songs over a big part of my life. And you cannot deny that the guy has a voice...

Also i like red heads....being one and all....

Before I came to Hong Kong, me and my best pal decided to have a wee drinky before the off. We went into Birmingham to a nightclub club called the "Powerhouse" after a couple or three, for a bit of music and a late beer.

Around 250 people present and a new band from Manchester took to the stage. Huge red head dressed as a paddy stepped forward and began to sing. All 250 stopped what they were doing ( yes I actually put my beer down ) as this lad sang like a bell. They were called The Cringe................never seen Simply Red

Just playing, Simply Red they were, and live in the early days were just amazing.

I presume it was mick. What a voice.

I have had the pleasure of seeing him in concert in Montreux. I don't think i took a big breath during two hours of concert.

Supposedly he is even better when he sings in Italy, where he lives.

Sorry, but i like his music. When it gets quite late at night and you listen to music - i would rather listen to Mick than to some crap on someowons i pod.
