I think it would benefit from a stronger light source. The best shot I've seen of that kind was where the sun was directly above the leaf itself so you could almost see through it.

Where were you in relation to the direction of the light in your picture? Was it obscured in anyway?

I can't remember the details, I saw it in my files while I was looking for something else. It was part of a stock library I started. I poppped it up here to see what kind of comments it would attract. Sadly this subforum is a lot less lively than it once was.
