What is American Food? I'm an American and I have a hard time naming any dish that I would label "American". Hamburger, maybe..... The part of the states I come from we tend to eat a lot of Mexican, Chinese, Pizza and we can't forget the Spicey Wings.

I'll say it again "I never insinuated that every young girl who wears shorts or short skirts is a prostitute." I was refering to bargirls not every woman walking the planet. If I have offended you in anyway by refering to bargirls then I am extreemly sorry and it was not my intention to offend you or any other member on here. I initially thought this Hooters was a bar which was going to be run like the establishments in Pattaya. I have since been informed that it is a restuarant. I understand that some people are offended at the mere mention of certains bars and I am truely sorry again.

I repeat that the traffic situation seems to have eased with the one-way traffic pattern and angle parking. Annoying to those who are accustomed to the old ways.

Hooters in the States is far more popular with males, restaurant notwithstanding. I would be shocked if (after initial promotions) a small beer didn't run 100 and up. Generally, one pays more in exchange for delusions. Also, of course, it is a "chain" and with that you get aircon, apparent cleanliness, service, and uninspired but reliable foods also costing more than usual in small businesses.

If it happens, I'll probably be eating across the one-way lane, which is getting more and more interesting - Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, and the Coffee Bus. But no cuties serving, just people.

WTK this has to be one of the better leg pulls in the pass couple years. I take my hat off to you.:jap: If anybody would take the time to research such as the Hooters website for foreign franchise location availability you should have noticed that Thailand is not listed. At the same time if you do a search you would see where there has been numerous rumors of a Hooters opening in Bangkok, Pattaya or Phuket, the latest was Phuket this past year, guess what, a no so. In 2004 there was a Hooter bar in Phuket that got closed. To be honest I hope I'm wrong but a legally licensed franchised Hooters at Meechok Plaza.....
