Best Value Internet Connection?

Featured Replies

Hi anyone got any suggestions on the cheapest and best internet connection on dial up in thailand. Have a tot phone line (just outside of Pataya) but am not near enough to exchange for adsl (so they say) I am currently using a dtac mobile connection but this is expensive. Whats the best deal? and is it better to go for unlimited access but to pay per minute for calls or is there a set monthly fee with a freephone connection Any suggestions welcomed

Thanks

Hi, I use Ji-net in a gold pack with "JI-Speed up" written in big letters across the middle which costs list price 169bht for 15 days unlimited, calls cost 3 baht each ( i.e. 1 min or 1 day) I am in Theppasit Road Pattaya and have been happy with service for nearly a year now. Not all that different from dial up in England in practise though the speeds that come up bottom right are sometimes around the 32 Kps mark. Just looked says 42 Kps now.

Hear so much negative talk about ADSL that I have decided to stick with this.

Can have own user name and password and retain from card to card.

Generally buy in Tuk Com for a small discount but you can get it up stairs at Tesco, Sukhumvit
