Man appeals against jail for toe sucking

A highly-intelligent Victorian man with a bizarre sexual preference who became a toe-sucking "slave" to a teenage "foot master" has appealed against a jail sentence on charges over his conduct.

Channa Wickremesekera, 43, a former Melbourne teacher, committed indecent acts with the boy, 14, who had advertised on YouTube for someone to "worship" his feet.

'The Aged' would triple its circulation overnight if it went tabloid (because people would then be able to read the thing on the train/bus/tram. It tries to make a statement of respectability with its broadsheet format, but I see it as not much more than a loony left rag for tree huggers and ferals - at least, that's what it was like the last time I got my fish and chips in it. Even the loons are disuaded from reading it because of its awkward size.

I agree the size inhibits the busy traveller but it's easy to read online, and when in Australia I cheerfully hog the entire kitchen table while I struggle with the Sunday crossquiz.
