An asteroid travelling at 23,000mph could crash into earth on April 13, 2036 killing millions causing global chaos.

In a scene straight from a science-fiction film, scientists are predicting that the 300-yard-wide Apophis slam into the planet.

If the comet passes through a narrow gravitational keyhole in April 2029 it will be on course for a massive collision seven years later.

So, yeah, in 25 years time there will be a 1 in a quarter of a million chance that an asteroid could hit earth causing "some damage". Hmm...

If I'm still around then I'll probably be ready for a quick exit.

I've heard from very reliable sources that this asteroid will hit the earth just after the super-volcano in Yellowstone National Park erupts, thus sealing the volcano for another 600,000 years and thus saving the world from being wiped out, as happened in the dinosaur era.

The asteroid, by the way, is fabricated by aliens from the galaxy Phffoxittt (not yet discovered by Earth scientists) in order to give the human race time to develop into civilised culture with a mental age of their newly-conceived off-spring.

Hopefully Bruce Willis will still be around to save us all

Rest your head easy Scott....the asteroid may indeed hit Earth, but far far too late for anyone to be affected....the world as we know it will end in December next year.

Social Security’s Trust Fund Headed For Bust In 2035

Recent Congressional Budget Office projections show that Social Security will burn through about $600 billion of its promissory notes from the Treasury Department over the coming decade, raising public debt by the same amount.

Overlaying CBO’s 2021 trust fund projection on top of prior Social Security Administration forecasts for 2022 and beyond suggests that the official trust fund exhaustion date could move up two years to 2035, when SSA actuaries release their annual report in the spring.
