Those watches are never as good as the originals. Do the originals manufacturers seriously think people who buy fake Rolexes are the same market as people who buy real ones? If anything, the copies are free advertising.

I am the ultimate cynic....So ..I deduce that the "fake" watches have some sort of connection with the real ones.

The Breitlings / Omega Divers watches / Gold Rolexes that I know and won't tell on T.V. where you get them are remarkably good.

So good in fact that the "tooling" is maybe related to the originals.

Consider this. Real Jeweler Real Omega - 2,000 Pounds or there abouts - Sell one every so often. Maybe 1 every 3 months ? No idea ?

Fake Omega - 40 pounds (2,000 baht) - Sell 3 a day on Pattaya Beach Road for 30 days = 3,600 pounds.

Its a no brainer. So how much gets back to the "real" watch company plus free advertising.

Many a bar owner in Pattaya would love to make that kind of money in a month.................

Which is exactly why Rolex do not pursue the purveyors of fakes.

They are free advertising for the short period of time they last. Never seen one work for more than six months. Most do not last that long....
