Could someone recommend a Thai Language school (beginner). I live close the the Chiang Mai Orchid on Huaykaew Road.

AUA on Rachadamnoen Rd. (=the street that is a walking street on Sundays - the extension of Tha Phae Rd. running towards Doi Suthep after Tha Phae Gate) have beginner's courses in the Thai language.

You could also contact Phayap University (but it would be a bit of a hassle for you to get there given your stated location).

Both of these courses have been running for many years and have a good reputation.
