Required Documents To Selling Own Car

Featured Replies

You need a copy of your passport and visa page , you need the blue book AND you need a certificate of residency from either immigration OR your embassy/consulate. If. you have a work permit or a yellow house book that will do in p0lace of the CR. Sign all copies.

Just remember ever what documents it took to by the vehicle those same documents are required to sell it. Car truck or bike.,

Yes. CR's are only good for 30 days from date of issue. On selling or buyin the LTD keeps the CR. Same for a DL.

I just paid off my loan.. I needed a CR to complete the paperwork to get my owners book. I also plan on selling it this month, so I needed a duplicate CR for when I sell it. At the US embassy this was $50 for each one.. Add that to the CR I got for renewing my DL, another for my visa renewal, and we're talking $200 this year just for worthless paperwork from the embassy with handwritten fill-in blocks, isn't verified in any way, and takes them just enough time to stamp and sign the things. What a racket.. And of course none of these Thai agencies accepts a copy, even if you have an original with you.
