We have added to the selection of European and Australian Cheese products and most of them will be in stock by the weekend. In addition, we have a full selection of fresh sausages made with natural pigs casings and parboiled for heat, brown and serve. For this months special, our hand made gourmet sausages will be reduced to 185 Baht per kg.

Our portion cut and vacuum packed steaks along with American Mix hamburger patties are in good supply. Remember our beef and pork suppliers to our factory in Bangkok are the largest and best in Thailand serving us for 14 years.

Stop by this week and ask Don for a free beer or beverage of your choice.

It is frustrating the cost of cheese, but I do remember paying exhorbitant prices for New Zealand and Australian mature cheddar in Waitrose England before I came here. The more fancy cheeses like Gorgonzola, Brie and Camembert were even worse.

We have buffalo here in Thailand so why is Mozzarella so expensive?

Maybe the lack of milking cows here and the cost of pasteurised milk is why not so much cheese is made here.

A good question for Don maybe.

The old Gouda is 1800 Baht per kilo, but the taste is glorious.

I have heard that most Thais are lactose intolerant. Probably why there is no "Thai Cheese". However, I wish it were so, as well....I unfortunately love cheese and it is about as unhealthy of a food as one can get. But now that you mention it....I have never seen "pasture land" that bovines could use...unless you could buy some rubber booties for them and get them to munch on what ever kwai eat. Hmmmmm....ett
