Us Masters Tv Coverage

Going to have a word with our TV shop in town and will ask for True Visions to be switched on for April/May.

Mainly for the golf and especially the US Masters, plus the end of the footy season in Europe.

Would a TV member kindly supply details of the live coverage of the Masters., plus what is the quality of the golf coverage these days?.

I switched it off last year as I thought the coverage was dismal and if I remember changing channels and finding tennis or something else on when golf was meant to be on, (according to the magazine).

It is scheduled to be shown on Star Sports, channel 107, and I do NOT guarantee the accuracy of their printed times.

Channel 110 on True shows the US Golf Channel - pretty sure they will have good coverage!

Golf Channel will show highlights but nothing live or a full replay of the action. They don't have the rights to televise it.

Watch their daily golf news show around 1900 each evening for some good commentary and a few highlights though.

FWIW, for those with Android smartphones there is a good app. in the Market, "The Masters Golf Tournament" with articles, live updates and in the Menu: Video, Leader Board, Pairings, Players, Photos and Course.

And, EA Sports "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12" includes Augusta National Golf Club.

Think I got my time zones mixed up, got up early Thursday morning thinking the golf would be on channel 7 and ended up watching the second half of the Chelsea - Man Utd game, which was'nt too bad.

I was up at 3AM all 4 days as long as the Thai TV was good enough to show it ... I attended the 1967 Masters all 4 regulation days with Gay Brewer the winner... I mostly stayed at the par 3 16th but wandered around on Par 5 15th if someone was there to hold my place on 15 ... saw Palmer, Nicklaus, Snead, Hogan, Player, etc.

My suggestion would be to look for a hotel that has Truevisions gold package in the room.

One of the Thai channels has shown the four majors in the past but I don't know about this year. Either channel 5 or 7 if my failing memory serves me correctly.
