Have 3 desktop computers on same bench... all with identical hardware and software (Win 7) and connected to the same internet. One takes ages... up to an hour sometimes, to connect to a URL. Same using IE or Mozilla. Other 2 are fine.

Have you tried swapping the network cable over with a machine that works? Duff cable, duff switch port maybe.

It is a wireless setup but I did test also with cable. Same negative result.

Download, install, update and run a Full Scan with Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. When complete, choose 'Remove Selected' if there is anything to remove and Reboot your computer.

After restart, open the program again and go to 'Logs'. Double click on the log produced for today and post the contents here.

Next, download, install and run HijackThis and use the Quick Start guide to enable you to produce a log for posting here too.
