..well the main forum for me i guess being the CM forum.

Cant post anything without it being a launch pad for ...well..for ..nvm..im sure you all already know the kind of thing im on about.

So..its quittin' time for me. I already stopped posting as much some time back, even just to give replies. Then i stopped posting "conversational" style posts, posts about observations etc, but against my better judgment i posted one recently. Realised why i stopped in the first place.(Granted, it was a vent thread..but even when ive tried to write something positive, it goes down the toilet.) Not even going to waste my time responding to some of the comments that had me rolling my eyes..would just encourage further roll eye comments. So, unless absolutely necessary, going to stop posting. Even queries are often met with criticism because someone got the wrong gist and goes on a rant about how I should have posed my opening post better. God..just isnt worth it. Maybe im being sensitive, but after ..what..5 years i think...im tired of it. Might have a look out for another site to ask general questions.

But, will come back to Bedlam. Cant be parted from the wonderful Bedlamites lol. Plus..Ladies forum and Bike forum are actually pretty supportive and welcoming.

Dont mean this as an attention thing, just a bit of a rant against some of the general attitudes. I love my life, maybe thats the problem...some others seem hell bent on being miserable cantankerous ba.....ards..................

I would agree with you, eek, but maybe you ARE a bit sensitive. It IS unfortunate that someone ALWAYS wants to start a bickering match for no other reason than just to bicker. It bogs down any reasonable debate and eventually everyone just goes away. I have a pretty thick skin so I don't mind people taking potshots at me personally, but when two or three people go far off topic on a personal grudge match then it ruins it for everyone. At least the insane here seem to remain relatively sane.

However, it DOES seem to be better on the specific sites where everyone has the same interest... as long as it's not competitive team sports. Jocks seem to enjoy taking pot shots at each other.

You seem to be going through some sort of phase, dear Eek.....Wanting to bite someone, going nuts, the DJ uncertainty, happy.......

Yep, couldn't agree more. Some of the tedious a***holes in General made my patience wear a little thin, to the extent that I stopped posting for ages. Only just come back, actually.

But I always thought that that was one of the endearing things about Bedders; whereas in the other forums, one had to endure posters revelling in the anonymity of the internet, one always had the feeling that, in Bedlam, we were all up at the bar together. I should have remembered that before wandering off...

In actual fact, I've only ever met a couple of Bedlamites but it always feels like a lot more...
