4Shared.Com

Featured Replies

I've been trying to access 4shared.com from a Thai ISP (TOT) using both both my desktop browser (Firefox) and my smartphone browser (Android). It's always in Thai. I found a dropdown box for English and only part of the page changes to English. Most of the page with all the important stuff is still in Thai. I've tried doing a google search with no luck on how to gain access to the site in English. Anybody know how to access it in English from Thailand?

The 'Language change' drop down menu on the main/home page is about a third of the way up from the bottom of the page over on the right in grey.

No such problems for me, once it's changed it's all in English.

The site is actually easy enough to use without changing language (if no luck).

May be it depends on the language of your PC system.

If I open this website everything occurs immediately in Germanrolleyes.gif

Try putting a www.4shared.com/en this should get you to English login page.

Well I've tried all the above suggestions, but whatever I do, I'm still seeing the pages in Thai which are screwing me because I can't navigate them.

I'm not actually trying to upload anything; all I want just now is to view this page:

http://www.4shared.com/document/1ZvwBJ0O/Shares.html

which I'm sure has been originally uploaded in English,

Can anyone elaborate for the benefit of this "thickie" here exactly what steps I need to take to view this .html file in its original English??

Aww,, well done MJCM! That's a perfect answer! Thank you very much biggrin.png .

Easy when you know how, isn't it, but not exactly intuitive! Can't help wondering how you came to discover that pressing that cog-wheel symbol opens the language menu. Anyway, it works, and I'm very grateful wai.gif
