At around 305 GBP A/I return KUL and 350 GBP return Bangkok/Phuket I think that the deal represents very fair value.

Good on ya! Nice find......Malaysia Air has been known to have some great seasonal deals throughout the year. And they don't get the publicity that other major carriers receive for such discounts. MA is also quite the equivalent to many a fine airline. Cheers!

I did notice that they had a Business Class fare from 70,000 Baht advertised from Bangkok to London, via KL, and it was available at that price for the dates I checked, and it included all taxes. Thought that was a pretty good deal in the current climate.

That's very true..the price advertised for LHR-BKK return is 352 GBP and when I tried some sample dates I got this:-

Thats 5 GBP cheapr than advertised....how dare they!!!

As is the case with all airfares if you get in early enough you will get the deal...at the moment their is quite a lot of availability at 2 GBP return plus taxes (total 347 GBP).

Just got it...43,000+ with a 12 hour stop in KL on the way out.............blah..thats almost 900 quid.....think BA still has to be the best value

The MAS deals that the OP's link takes you to is only for return flights originating from LHR.

861 euro for me and the missus

just need flights now to bkk which i will book myself so best bet is to just book to KL

My preferred dates areen't available on MH... oh well.

Just did a search for a LHR-BKK r/t on Thai Airways and got 835 quid and can be changed. There's something to be said for buying a dirt-cheap one-way from Bangkok to the UK and buying your r/t tickets in fair Albion... or Alba.
