Perception is in the eye of the beholder

PATTAYA: -- Perception is in the eye of the beholder. How you perceive Thailand will depend on whether you are happy here or not. This was the main message from fellow member and former Club Chairman Drew Noyes at the Club’s meeting on April 24, 2011 at the Amari’s Tavern by the Sea Restaurant. Drew has a vast amount of experience in living in Thailand and loves to share that experience with his fellow expats. He said his main message was to point out the positive aspects of living in Thailand.

Drew having lived in Thailand for a long time and managing his many business enterprises was just the person to tell his fellow expats about why living in Thailand is such a good thing. After being introduced by Master of Ceremonies Richard Silverberg, Drew started by posing a general question to the audience: why did you come to Thailand?

Correct.

It's interesting that some people come here and are happy and have a balanced, objective view of the country in addition to becomming very successful and others come here and are unhappy and critical failures.

Funny, same Thailand....

Is this the same guy who is always trying to flog his real estate services and telling everyone the sky is falling and that they need to get their houses out of company names...sounds like he's working his own book.
