OneeyedJohn Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) I'm looking to sell something as quickly as possible and this website was recommended by a Thai friend of mine. It does however show no English which doesn't matter but it means that probably no expats use it. A quick shifty at its adverts and all I see are hundreds & hundreds of mobile phones for sale. I'm not selling a phone so really I'm not sure it will help me. A local buyer is so much more convenient if I can find one. Any ideas out there. Paul888 Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 I read that site in google chrome with automatic translate. It can be quite entertaining. As regards selling something. I would try the classifieds here first and then maybe baht sold.
kandahar Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Send a PM with pics and particulars to woraphat. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/user/110702-woraphat/ She will translate to Thai and put the ad up for you on CR Focus and send you the link.
kandahar Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Even if you use CR Focus, it is a good idea to put it on Thai Visa (TV) Classifieds. Lots of people nationwide will see it. I have very good success with TV ads.
scorpio1945 Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 CR Saddlebags (Worapat on TV) can also sell it for you for a small fee.:jap:
OneeyedJohn Posted May 14, 2011 Author Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) many thanks for the helpful replies everyone. I'll put up some more recent/relvant photos soon. 26K on the clock. Edited May 14, 2011 by OneeyedJohn
dindong Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 You should sign up. I have been asked to try to get more foreigners interested and if we can get enough people, they will try to get an English version of the site going. Chrome is good for translation and it's not too difficult to get around the site. There are a few English speakers on it, so sign up and post away using just basic English. also thaivisa, baht and sold and craigs list is pretty good.
OneeyedJohn Posted May 14, 2011 Author Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) I just realised my original post has neen meesed with so sorry for any confusion. Some "forum" eh If someone is going to mess around with a post then surely the polite thing to do is inform the original poster ( me in this case ) of the changes made and reason for doing so. My apologies to those who are confused as it was not my doing. Edited May 14, 2011 by OneeyedJohn
