I am moving to Chiang rai around may 28-june 3 and will need a place to stay.

Looking for a room with a bed, dresser, desk oh a Fridge and tv would be nice. I am looking for something either downtown near the night market or something near the new bus station.

Under 5000 bhat. and rent must be month to month if at all possible. A room in somebodys house would be ok as well.

Willing to go up to 6000 for a funished 1 -2 bedroom apartment or house.

I think Lalita Apartments down at the end of Sanpanard meets most, if not all, of your requirements. It is close to the Night Bazaar, and the monthly rate is well-below your rate ceiling.

Best to come here, check into a guest house or hotel near downtown and look around for what you like. Many different options for you.
